Happy Grains “Thousand Gift of Happiness” Lucky Draw

  1. By participating in Happy Grains’ “Thousand Gift of Happiness” Lucky Draw Contest (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest’’), you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. This Contest is organised and being run by HAPPY GRAINS HOLDINGS SDN. BHD. (“Organiser”).

  2. The contest period is only valid from 1st November 2022 to 28th February 2023 (“Contest Period”). Entries received by the Organiser after the expiry of Contest Period shall be automatically disqualified and shall not be entertained by the Organiser.

  3. Eligibility

    1. This contest is open to all Malaysian citizens residing in Malaysia only, aged 18 years and above (“Eligible Participants” or “you”). By participating in the Contest, you confirm that you have compiled with the terms and conditions here in, and you are eligible to claim any prize you may win.

    2. The Organiser’s employees, agents and partnering agencies are prohibited to participate in the Contest.

  4. How to Enter

    1. To participate in the Contest, you need to purchase our following Happy Grains products scratch and scan QR Code on the Happy Grains Tub/Box.

      Purchase 1 Tub/Box (East Malaysia) @ RM119.00

      Once you have scanned the QR Code (known as “Hologram QR Code”), you will be led to the landing page at https://happygrains.com.my/cny2023 whereby the Eligible Participants shall register for the Contest. The Organiser will not be responsible if any of the contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.

    2. Each Hologram QR Code shall be valid for one entry submission for the contest only.

    3. The lucky draw will be held on the Contest landing page, whereby results will be announced upon verification approval. Kindly refer to the Organiser’s Official Facebook Page for more details and information of the contest.

    4. The Organiser fully reserves the right to reject any entries and/or registration which are incomplete, illegible, disfigured, register beyond the deadline or such other reasons as the Organiser solely deems fit.

  5. Lucky Draw at the Contest landing page

    1. Eligible participants may register via the Contest landing page (https://happygrains.com.my/cny2023) by selecting “Enter Now”, and completing the registration form with correct, accurate, valid and reachable contact information including (a) Name as per Malaysian identity card, (b) Mobile phone number, (c) Malaysian identity card number, (d) Date of Birth, (e) Email address, and (f) Postal address. Eligible Participants are strictly advised to provide correct, accurate and reachable information and contact details, whereby the Organiser shall not bear any responsibilities whatsoever in terms of failed and/or delayed notifications and deliveries as a result of the Eligible Participants’ negligence and/or incorrect information.

    2. Eligible Participants are required to scan “Hologram QR Code” that is printed on Happy Grains products to participate in the Lucky Draw.

    3. The result for the Lucky Draw will be prompt and notified immediately upon each successful and complete entry after clicking the “Enter Now” button. Lucky winners will be immediately notified of the prize won.

    4. Each Hologram QR Code shall be registered separately and independently. Duplicate entries shall not be entertained.

    5. Incomplete entries and/or Participants that fail to fulfil the Contest mechanism or procedure will automatically be disqualified from the Contest without notice.

    6. The Organiser strictly reserves all rights and sole discretion to cancel and/or disqualified and/or terminate and/or refuse any incomplete and/or illegal registrations and/or participations.

  6. Prizes

    1. Lucky Draw Prizes
      A total of 1,300 lucky winners will be drawn, whereby prizes worth in total of RM100,000 is up for grab; comprising of:

      Grand Prize #1 : One (1) 4D3N Cruise Trip for 2
      Prizes #2 : One (1) Happy Luggage
      Prizes #3 : One(1) Happy Angpao
      Prizes #4 : One(1) Happy Grains - 15 sachets
      Prizes #5 : One(1) Limited Edition Happy Mug
      Prizes #6 : One(1) Happy Grains - 40 sachets / 1.5kg / 1kg

    2. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to substitute any of the prizes with alternative prizes of similar value, at any time without prior notice. All prizes are given on an “as is” basis and are not exchangeable or traded in for cash, credit, other items and/or voucher in part or in full.

    3. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any installation nor bear any installation cost of the prizes won by the lucky winners.

    4. The Organiser shall only be responsible for delivery and delivery cost of prizes to postal address within Malaysia.

    5. The Organiser shall not be held responsible nor be liable for any damage to the prizes occurring in transit or during delivery and/or warranty period(s) (for appliances under Item 6.1 @ above), if applicable.

  7. Eligible Winners

    1. The eligibility to win the Contest is on the condition that the Eligible Participants shall fully observe and strictly comply with the Terms and Conditions as stated herein.

    2. One Thousand Three Hundred and Forty One (1,300) Prizes will be drawn according to the Hologram QR Code that participants entered and registered, whereby the results drawn shall be final, conclusive and binding. Any correspondences pertaining to the final decision of the Contest made by the Organiser shall not be entertained. The organiser shall be entitled to amend the lucky draw method.

  8. Announcement of the Winners

    1. The winner(s) will be contacted via their mobile number, message, SMS or email provided to the Organiser. Only winner(s) who successfully responded are entitled to claim for the prize.

    2. The Organiser reserves the right to forfeit the prizes if the winners shall fail and/or delay and/or neglect to respond to the Organiser’s message/email within seven (7) days from the notification of winning, including weekends and public holidays.

    3. For verification purpose, the Winners are required to produce proof of their identity and/or confirming the winning Hologram QR Code during and prior to the redemption of the prizes. The Organiser shall only accept the Original Malaysian Identity Card as proof of identity. The Organiser has every right to disqualify the Winner should he/she fail to provide such proof of identity.

    4. Prizes will be delivered to the winner's doorstep, within approximately three (3) to four (4) weeks of working days after the respective draw. Winners will be notified by the Organiser on the delivery date via the winner’s registered mobile number. As such, winners are advised to provide correct, accurate and reachable postal address and mobile number to the Organisers upon being notified of winnings.

    5. It is important to note that only Grand Prizes must be claimed in person unless the winner is otherwise advised. For verification purpose, Grand Prizes winners are required to show proof of identification card and Hologram QR code during the prize redemption.

    6. All prizes by the Organiser is/are not transferable, refundable nor exchangeable, in any form and manner for whatsoever. All prize images are for reference only. Prizes shown and/or represented for the running of this Contest shall be subjected to availability. Prizes given are non-refundable and nonexchangeable.

    7. The Organiser reserves the right to publish or display materials or information, including but not limited to the names and photographs of all winners for marketing, advertising and publicity purposes on the Organiser’s social media platforms in any manner it deems appropriate.

    8. The Prize Winners may be required to appear in the Contest related photos or video(s) (interviews included) for promotional and marketing purposes that will be uploaded on the Organiser’s social media platforms.

By participating in the Contest, the Eligible Participants are deemed to agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein and all decisions made by the Organiser in respect of the Contest. The Eligible Participant agrees to the use of his/her personal data (as defined under the PDPA 2010) and any information provided and submitted in the Contest’s entry submission. Any personal data relating to the Eligible Participant will be used solely in accordance with Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA 2010”) and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

  11. The Organiser shall not be held responsible in any way for delays, nondeliveries and/or interruptions of messages/emails sent or received and shall not be held liable for any mistakes done by the Eligible Participants in respect of their mobile phone(s) or email account(s) in conjunction with the Contest.

  12. The Organiser shall not be held responsible or liable for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorised access to, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet and/or websites.

  13. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any submission of entry made outside of the Contest Period, or without executing proper procedure of participation.

  14. The Organiser reserves the right to make any changes to the Contest including but not limited to cancelling the Contest or extending the Contest Period, replacing prizes with any other products of equivalent value at any time it deems fit, and alter the Terms and Conditions contained herein without prior notice. Any amendments made to these Terms and Conditions or updates on this Contest shall be published on the Organiser’s official Facebook page from time to time.

  15. Organiser shall not be responsible for any losses or damages directly or indirectly incurred by any party including the Eligible Participant in connection or arising from acts or omissions or in any way related to this Contest. By entering into this Contest, the Eligible Participant agrees not to hold Organiser and the Organiser’s group of companies, their officers, directors, shareholders, predecessors, successors in title, employees, agents and representatives harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liability, claims or expenses (including any legal fees), suffered or incurred by Participate due to or in any way arising from this Contest.

  16. This Contest and the Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
